Hi! So you want to know a little bit about the girl behind Ayse Lulu?

I'm a mum.

That's it. That's where my sentence ends.

OK, that's obviously not true, there's more to me than that and I want to be so much more. I want to help so much more.

I began writing this blog in 2015, never really taking it seriously for more than a few months. It's taken many twists and turns, but always coming back to one thing: mental wellbeing.

It's incredibly important to me. In my short time on this planet, I've experienced many up and downs. Some times harder than others, some where I thought I wouldn't be on this planet for much longer and others than I picked myself up after a few days and got on with "life" - whatever that is.

I want to share my story with you. I want to inspire. I want to help you through hard times. Struggles. To keep going on your journey of recovery, whether that be an eating disorder, depression, anxiety and so on. To handle those difficult times in your relationship. To close a door and open a new one. And perhaps even give you some food for thought.

My passion is to help you, feel like you. Remember my first line? "I'm a mum" - I'm so much more than that.

I want Ayse Lulu to be a place to give you a helping hand through the rollercoaster that is life.

After all, life is a like a rollercoaster. It has its up and downs. But it's your choice to suffer in silence and try to ignore all the bad or enjoy the ride and put your wellbeing first.

"You only live once" - this phrase has never touched me before, I always brushed it off as a "Drake-wannabe phrase" used as an excuse for maybe not doing the 'right' thing. But today it struck me, like never before. You only have one life... So what the heck am I doing being unhappy?
